Curriculum

Thank you for your interest in teaching these topics using our materials! This page will provide an overview of content and topics available, how these topics fit together, and previews of the online modules.

Overview | Fourteen topics focus on unique and important aspects of women in development. Although the majority of examples and scenarios represent developing countries, the concepts shared are applicable to areas such as the United States as well.

Topics | Modules 1-4 provide a strong foundation needed for any development project focusing on women or other marginalized populations. Modules 5-11 examine specific ways that women can contribute to peace and security. Modules 12-14 look forward to how we can improve policies, programs, and research in the future.
